I am a content creator, videographer, photographer and storyteller with more than six years of experience helping the university connect with their audiences through compelling digital content. I specialize in transforming research, student experiences, and campus life into engaging videos and social media campaigns that inspire, inform, and build community.

SOCIAL MEDIA
As a higher education social media strategist, I oversee content creation and digital storytelling across multiple University of Utah accounts, including the College of Social & Behavioral Science, Student Research Initiative, College of Science, and Colleges of Liberal Arts & Sciences. My work spans the entire content creation process—from researching trends, identifying audience interests, and developing creative concepts to scriptwriting, filming, editing, scheduling, and performance analysis. Through strategic storytelling, I transform student experiences, faculty research, and campus life into engaging content that grows audiences and strengthens community connection.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I capture student experiences, faculty achievements, research, and campus events through photography that is authentic, engaging, and visually compelling. By introducing a more modern, story-driven approach to photography, I helped shift the college's visual identity away from traditional posed imagery toward dynamic, brand-aligned content that better reflects the energy and excellence of the University of Utah community.

VIDEOGRAPHY
Through Betty Film House, I create cinematic videos that capture meaningful stories, from weddings and family histories to personal milestones. My approach is rooted in the same storytelling principles I use in higher education marketing—finding authentic moments, highlighting human connection, and creating content that resonates with audiences. Whether documenting a couple's wedding day or showcasing student experiences, I believe great video has the power to preserve memories, inspire emotion, and tell stories that matter.
PODCASTS
From concept development and interview preparation to recording and promotion,
I produce faculty-focused podcast content that brings research to life. Each episode highlights the people behind the scholarship, transforming academic expertise into compelling stories that resonate with audiences beyond the classroom.
